Scope of the event

International Conference and Graduate Colloquium (ICGC 2021) aims to bring forth the latest insights, trends, research and its corollaries which can be expedient for the communities at large by bringing together spectrums of reflective practice and thoughtful vision on resilience against Covid – 19 pandemic oriented challenges culminating in innovation and sustainability.

This event will feature a comprehensive number of top lectures by distinguished researchers from across the globe like USA, Canada, Australia, China, Malaysia, Brazil and Turkey. Participants are also encouraged to submit their articles for publication in an array of prestigious journals. Every single participant will be sure to leave the event motivated and excited. The best and most groundbreaking research work will also be awarded prizes.

Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar

Vice Chancellor

The worthy Vice Chancellor, University of the Punjab Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar will grace the inaugural session of the ICBC-2020. Dr. Akhtar holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK. He has also served as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila; and as the Rector of the National Textile University, Faisalabad. He is recipient of Sitara-i-Imtiaz from the Government of Pakistan for his meritorious services.

Prof. Dr. Saleem Mazhar

Pro Vice Chancellor

Prof. Dr. Saleem Mazhar is Pro Vice Chancellor, University of the Punjab, Lahore and also Chairman Department of Persian. His research area is Persian Language, Literature, Sufism and Historiography and Cultural, Social, Political, Literary Relations of South Asia, Iran and Central Asia. He is author of national and international research publications. He is also author of 7 books.

Prof. Dr. Mubbsher Munawar Khan is Dean, Faculty of Commerce, and Principal, Hailey College of Banking and Finance. His areas of expertise include Halal Marketing and International Marketing. Besides presenting his research work in international conferences, he is also serving as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Business Reflections, and member, Editorial Board- Academy of Business and Retail Management, Academy of Marketing Sciences, and European Marketing Academy.

Director General

Prof. Dr. Sayyid Salman Rizavi is Director General, Gujranwala Campus, University of the Punjab. He has PhD in Economics from France. He has also degree of MSc in Computer Sciences. His interest area is Econometric Modeling & Financial Econometrics. He has authored a book on Economics. His research work has been published in national and international peer reviewed journals. He also presented research papers in national and international conferences.

Dr. Sadia Farooq

Conference Secretary, ICGC2021

Sadia Farooq is an assistant professor and Ph.D. program coordinator at Hailey College of Commerce, University of the Punjab. She is fulfilling her responsibilities of conference secretary of International Conference on Business & Commerce (ICBC2020) and International Conference and Graduate Colloquium (ICGC2021). She did her Ph.D. from University of Warwick, United Kingdom. She has served as a reviewer of prestigious international research journals, such as Omega and Journal of Productivity Analysis. She has publications in different national and international journals. She is an active member of international forums including Data Envelopment Analysis Research Group, Financial Inclusion club (UK), Warwick Banking and Finance professionals.

One of the main objectives of ICGC2021 is to continue to work toward improving the standard of the international community of educational researchers, scholars, and practitioners by introducing them to the latest trends, developments, and challenges in the education field while addressing the theme “Joining hands for impactful business research”.
